Behavior Modification

Why Behavior Modification Takes 6–8 Weeks

Dogs struggling with aggression or serious behavioral issues don’t always fit into a set timeline. Once a dog comes into our program, we take time to observe, evaluate, and understand their behavior in a structured environment.

Some dogs make progress quickly, while others need additional time to build trust, confidence, and reliability. That’s why behavior modification programs are offered in a 6–8 week timeframe, rather than a fixed number of weeks — so we can do what’s best for the dog, not rush the process.
